I believe the experience, knowledge and creativity we gather throughout our lives can become the foundation for something meaningful—and profitable.
I have always been drawn to working for myself. When my children were young, I built and ran successful small businesses from home. I created wedding and birthday cakes through my cake-decorating business, then established a soap-making business that grew from handmade products into wholesale sales.
As my children grew older, my career evolved. I moved into contract bookkeeping and later spent many years working within other people’s businesses. Along the way, I gained practical experience in business operations, organisation, customer service, problem-solving and turning ideas into something people are willing to buy.
At 57, I made the decision to leave my full-time job and return to what I do best: creating, teaching and building an independent income on my own terms.
Today, I use my business experience and creative skills to help people over 50 turn what they know and love into digital products, useful content and opportunities to earn online.
